To figure your gallons out use the following rule. Length x width x average depth x 7.5 = Total gallonsSmall bodies of Water fluctuate a lot more that do large bodies of water. 4 bathers in a 350 gallon Spa is Equal to 228 bathers in a 20,000 gallon pool! Think about it.We recommend that you use a Bromine Sanitizer in any heated body of water. Chlorine breaks down at about 98 degrees and combines and starts to smell, Chlorine becomes inactive at a pH of 7.8 in hot water.  Bromine on the other hand does not smell and works in water well over 104 degrees, (the max Spa water temperature allowed is 104) and is still active in a ph of 8.2. The following is a balance chart based on what type of sanitizers and water balancers you are using. We recommend Perfect pH and Spa Frog with all Hot Water Spas. It’s the most forgiving and easiest system to use. Keeping your sanitizer levels at a very low range extends the life of the Pillows, Spa Cover, Spa Heater and make the water feel silky soft. High levels of sanitizer gas off and shorten the life span of Pillows, Jets, Spa Covers, Heaters and more high levels of Sanitizer also tend to irritate the skin.
