Why use Bromine over Chlorine?
Chlorine
does not like hot water. Most spa/hottub owners keep their spas at 100 + degrees. At 92 degrees the chlorine in the water
starts to gas off. This chlorine gassing is very obnoxious to the bather. It will sting your eyes and makes it hard to breath.
Since it gases off, Chlorine does not stay in the water long enough and consistant enough to sanitize the water.
Bromine on the other hand is very heat tolerant and will stay in the water long enough
to santize. It also does not have the obnoxious odors attributed to chlorine. So use bromine in your spa and chlorine in your
swimming pool.
